‘My angel’: New mum Jesinta Franklin dotes on daughter Tullulah in her first video with the baby

Jesinta Franklin has shared her first video with newborn daughter Tullulah.

The new mother, 28, posted a short clip on her Instagram page showing herself with the baby resting on her chest.

In the video, the former beauty queen kept her newborn cosy under a blanket and gently rubbed her back before giving her a kiss on the head.

The brunette beauty wrote on the post: ‘My angel.’

She added: ‘Rainy day snuggles on the couch watching chick flicks with my girl while daddy’s at training.’

Jesinta’s sweet mother and daughter video comes after her husband Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin shared his first photo with Tullulah last week on Instagram.

The Sydney Swans player, 33, cuddled his baby girl under a $2200 Hermes blanket.

He wrote in the caption: ‘Lulu and I are all set for the #AFLOrigin game tonight. Go the all stars!’ 

Jesinta and Lance welcomed Tullulah on February 25.

A spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia: ‘Jesinta and Lance are thrilled to announce the arrival of their beautiful baby daughter, Tullulah Franklin.’ 

‘They are both absolutely besotted with her.’   

Lance and Jesinta told Marie Claire back in December that constitutional recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples was especially important to them because of their growing family.

‘We want our child to feel included, recognised, heard and worthy, which is why constitutional recognition is so important to us,’ Jesinta said December.

‘I know I’m going to have these discussions with my child and explain the dark parts of history, but we also want to celebrate the beautiful Indigenous culture and stories.’
