Justin Bieber’s missing cat Sushi was found by chef Sandra Lee after three weeks in the wild

Justin and Hailey Bieber are thanking god – and Sandra Lee- for safely returning their beloved cat Sushi after he had been missing for nearly a month.

Bieber took to Instagram to share the happy news that the pricey Savannah cat was found yesterday and is now back home looking ‘extremely skinny,’ in a post on Friday.

Celebrity chef Sandra Lee was the one who found Sushi in her backyard after being missing for three weeks, and briefly cared for the kitty who she described as ‘starving, cold, scared’ and stuck with ‘porcupine quills.’

Great news! Justin and Hailey Bieber are thanking god – and Sandra Lee- for safely returning their beloved cat Sushi after he had been missing for nearly a month

Lee recounted the whole story of finding the small cat, who she described as emaciated, in a social media post of her own.

‘Guess what walked into my backyard last night? My best friend and I Had no idea what it was or who’s it was,’ she began on Instagram.

‘The cat almost darted away, then all of a sudden It was all over us, so very thin, very emaciated but so sweet. And it was so beautiful … I was thinking…..That is not an ordinary cat,’ the Semi-Homemade host wrote.

Along with a photo of a safely snoozing Sushi, Sandra said that she thought the cat looked like a baby lynx and described his heart breaking condition.

'He was starving, cold, scared, exhausted and stuck with porcupine quills —-but he was happy and excited all at the same time,' she said. 'Three (3) cans of tuna and a bowl of warm milk later the painful Quills have been removed and we are cuddling on the couch- drowsy and milk drunk the purring baby was calmed so we took the collar off and called the number'

Unbeknownst to the Food Network star, the number on Sushi’s collar belonged to Justin Bieber, who she said was ‘happy, shocked and stunned.’

‘I thought the young man on the other end of the phone was going to either burst out in shrieks of joy or burst out in tears,’ she wrote.

'I can't even imagine what Sushi's three weeks of hell running up and down Beverly Hills mountains were like —There are so many wild animals in the canyon and I cannot believe he survived,' she finished, dubbing herself Sushi's Aunt Sandy.

Sandra snuggled Sushi on the couch while she waited about an hour for ‘the owner’ to come and collect his missing pet.

She said she had immediately fallen in love with Sushi and wished she could adopt him.

When she realized the cat belonged to Justin and Hailey and how long it had been missing she was flabbergast and even more compassionate to the sweet animal who likely had a terrifying time in the wilderness.

The couple caught backlash for shelling out so much money on the hybrid cats considering so many strays need loving homes.
