Nicole, 41, said on stage: ‘The Pussycat Dolls are back together! We haven’t been here [in Sydney] in over 10 years and it feels so good to be back.’

‘Thank you for being such incredible fans, keeping the dream alive and supporting us for the past 10 years to make this a reality.

‘Everything we do, we do with the intention of inspiring and empowering each and every one of you,’ the American singer and dancer continued.

The Pussycat Dolls’ latest track React marks 15 years since their hit Don’t Cha became a chart-topping hit.

They produced two studio albums before parting ways in 2009.

Nicole told news.com.au on Friday that while their success may have seemed ‘short-lived’ to fans, they were under intense pressure at the time.

‘To the fans it was short-lived, it was only two albums. But we were able to accomplish a lot,’ she said.

‘Nothing could prepare us for it. For many years they just didn’t schedule sleep into our schedules. We were under a lot of pressure together,’ Nicole continued.

The Pussycat Dolls will return to Australia for the So Pop Festival in April.

They will be joined by a host of other late ’90s and early ’00s acts, including Jesse McCartney and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
