Jackie ‘O’ Henderson says Kyle Sandilands is her ‘soulmate’ in letter to her teenage self 

Jackie ‘O’ Henderson and Kyle Sandilands have been on the radio together for more than 20 years. 

And on Monday, Jackie called Kyle her ‘soulmate’ and teared up while talking about her nine-year-old daughter Catalina ‘Kitty’ Henderson. 

The KIIS FM radio host, 45, got emotional while reading out a letter to her teenage self to celebrate International Women’s Day.  

‘You’ll also make a lifelong friend called Kyle who you’re still working with to this day,’ Jackie said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

‘He is your soulmate, but not in the romantic way. He’ll finish your sentences for you, he’ll support you through so much and he’ll make you laugh every day.’ 

‘Oh, that’s very sweet of you!’ Kyle replied. 

Jackie then joked: ‘Don’t be fooled though, he’s a real a**hole most of the time!’ 

The radio host then moved on to her daughter: ‘You’ll have a girl, sorry to ruin the surprise, her name is Kitty, she’s nine years old now and she is awesome.’  

Jackie became emotional as she spoke about Kitty, choking back tears as she described her daughter’s attributes.

‘She’s everything you ever hoped your child would be. She’s kind yet strong, she loves animals, she’s extremely compassionate and she wouldn’t hurt a fly,’ she said. 

‘But she packs some insane jiu jitsu moves. Yep, by the age of 9 she’ll be able to bring a grown man down in a headlock if she needs to.’ 

Noticing that Jackie was tearful, Kyle decided to cheer her up. 

‘Why are you crying? Because you realised you didn’t say anything nice about me? You rattled on with half a sentence!’ he said. 

‘If I’m your soulmate I should’ve gotten a couple more sentences about all the great things about me!’
