She reached the pop dance charts for the first time in her young career just months ago.

The artist says the inspiration behind the track is capturing the feeling of a moment slipping away.

She told DailyMail.com: ‘I wrote it thinking about those precious minutes in the morning before someone has to go, maybe they are leaving for a long time, or maybe you don’t know if you will see them again.

‘A Sunday night can feel like that also, the bittersweetness of real life coming soon!’

I Am Boleyn revealed that the song had started off as a sad ballad with nothing but piano accompaniment and evolved into the electronic dance tune it is today.

She explained: ‘It was great because it grew and built in to a bigger song with the beat.

‘I often start my set with it because it sets the tone really well for the rest of the tracks and I love singing it!’

Her debut EP, titled In Between, will come out in June as she also expressed her excitement over the project.

I Am Boleyn said: ‘There will be two new songs, including the title track, which is a song for summer, and also a few remixes I am really excited to share.

‘I just listened to the first version the Just Friends remix by Tokyo Project a few days ago and it sounds amazing. We will have a EP launch gig in June in London too.’

There are plenty of other exciting things on the horizon for the artist as the music video for her single Limit Of Love was officially selected for the London Music Video Festival in May.

I am Boleyn is also the face and voice for the Charlotte Tilbury ‘Pillow Talk’ mae-up campaign as the advert is on television in the UK at the moment.

This comes just months afteris already reaching commercial success as back in December a remix of the London-based talent’s track Too Much charted 12 in UK commercial pop dance charts.

I Am Boleyn’s talent is being propelled by a host of VIP performances.

Following her grand coming out at LA’s Peppermint Club last February, I Am Boleyn appeared at Art Basel in December 2019.

Come 2020 she’ll appear at London’s iconic Annabel’s nightclub before heading to Sweden in May and later Berlin to woo the rest of the club set.

I Am Boleyn’s work evokes a number of influences. The artist has listed Robyn, Goldfrapp, Mo, and MS MR as inspirations for ‘her take on electro-pop brims with hints of neon lit 80’s Berlin bars with a futuristic twist of Blade Runner.’

She spends most of her time between London and Stockholm to work on her music.

Atrue citizen of the world, she grew up in St. Petersburg, Russia before going on to study history at Oxford University.

No matter where she was located on the globe, music was always there as she has been writing songs and singing in bands from an early age.

I Am Boleyn is not only making waves in the music industry but also in fashion as New York-based label La Ligne invited her to be their brand ambassador last year.
