‘Kidnapped’ girl, 15, is rescued by police as they stop car on motorway and arrest three men and a woman for child abduction

A teenage girl has been saved from abduction after police used a tactical stop on a car travelling on a motorway.

Police in Worcestershire stopped a vehicle travelling on the northbound junction of the M5 and M42.

Four Romanian nationals were arrested and taken into custody.  

Worcestershire Police’s Operations Patrol Unit tweeted: ‘A shift assisted this evening with a tactical stop on this vehicle M5/M42. Four Romanians arrested and now in custody for the abduction of a 15-year-old. We will continue to tackle organised crime!’
