James Corden got the fright of his life when he woke up with Niall Horan sitting next to him in his bedroom.
In a hilarious sketch for The Late Late Show with James Corden, Niall, 26, surprised the chat show host, 41, at home to prepare for his week of co-hosting the show with James.
The sketch opened with James fast asleep in bed as Niall sat in a chair beside him, unbeknownst to the chat show host.

Turning on the bedside lamp, Niall said: ‘Rise and shine sleeping beauty.’
Surprised, James screamed in terror, which made the former One Direction star scream in return.
‘What are you doing?’ James asked, horrified.
‘Sitting in a chair, watching you sleep,’ Niall answered.

‘Why are you in my bedroom?’ James demanded.
‘It’s Niall Week James, we’re going to spend the whole week together. Can I get you a cup of coffee?’ Niall said.
‘No! It’s 5am, this is so weird. How long have you been here?’
‘Nine hours, you get a lot of sleep.’
Sighing, James tried to tell the singer that ‘Niall Week’ did not extend to the pair becoming roommates.
‘I am thrilled for Niall Week but in the studio, not here. Here, this is James Corden Week, do you understand?’ he said.

Wake up: ‘It’s Niall Week James, we’re going to spend the whole week together. Can I get you a cup of coffee?’ Niall said
‘Yes of course I understand, I’m sorry. I was just getting excited, we were going to spend the whole week together. I’ll leave,’ Niall said, getting up.
‘Niall wait, I’ll hop in the shower and then you can help me get to work OK?’
Throwing a towel at the chat show host, Niall said: ‘Yes! You take this, and I’ll tell your wife she doesn’t have to sleep on the couch anymore. It’s Niall Week everyone!’
Niall will appear alongside James throughout this week’s Late Late Show as the Irish star gears up to release his second solo album, Heartbreak Weather.
The Slow Hands hitmaker shared the news on Twitter, writing: ‘Going to be an incredible week here on the @latelateshow with my good friend @JKCorden. Make sure ya watch #LateLateNiall’.

Niall also shared a video of himself and James discussing what his role would be on the show.
‘With the album coming out I really want to do something, have a bit of a splash around the release,’ Niall said. ‘So like I could perform every night, I could do sketches, I could do Carpool Karaoke?’
You could get my laundry, you could rearrange my office and do any chores I need, you could work on my diary,’ James replied.
Heartbreak Weather will be released on Friday, March 13 and includes the singles, Nice To Meet Ya and Put A Little Love On Me.
Niall’s debut solo effort, Flicker, was released in 2017 and reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and number three on the UK’s Official Albums Chart.
