Kylie Jenner appears to flout the law by filming Instagram Story while driving in Los Angeles rain 

Kylie Jenner appeared to flout the law on Tuesday, by filming while at the wheel of her moving vehicle.

A short clip shared by the 22-year-old to Instagram Stories showed her hand at the wheel of her blue Rolls Royce, with her distinctive manicure and jewelry on show.

In the three-second clip, Kylie’s hand could be seen moving the wheel while driving along the highway, as rain splattered on the window.

If as it appears, Kylie filmed the clip herself, this would be illegal in California.

In her home state you cannot use a cell phone while holding it in your hand, but instead must have it set up to be used hands free – such as via voice commands.

The clip seemed designed to highlight the rain on Kylie’s car window – a rarity in Southern California.

Clearly excited by the unusually wet weather, which is predicted to last all week, the young mother had the previous evening taken a late night drive up a hillside to watch the storm roll in.

This time she took a seat in the back of her Rolls, alongside a male friend, who clasped a champagne flute.

‘It’s raining!’ she tagged photos taken at a viewpoint, which played alongside Billie Eilish’s Everything I Wanted. 

And again on Tuesday morning, she shared a screenshot of the weather forecast from her phone, captioning it ‘well damn.’
