‘It’s like a huge puzzle piece of who I am that has been dormant for a decade, or longer,’ she said of reactivating her musical side.

When asked if hard times, like her ‘unhealthy’ marriage to Ryan Adams, influenced her writing, Moore admitted that’s why she stopped altogether.

‘I was very unsure of myself for a really long time,’ she said about her divorce in 2016 after seven years of marriage. ‘It forced me to question who I was as a musician.’
