Slyvia Jeffreys gives son Oscar a smooch as she and husband Peter Stefanovic enjoy a lunch date

Slyvia Jeffreys welcomed her first child, son Oscar, with her husband Peter Stefanovic, in February. 

And on Friday, the 33-year-old and her 38-year-old husband had a lunch date with their new bub at an Italian restaurant in Double Bay. 

The Channel Nine newsreader could not keep her hands off her newborn, giving the little one a kiss as she sat at an outside table. 

Sylvia looked relaxed in a black T-shirt, tortoiseshell sunglasses and appeared to be wearing minimal makeup.   

Peter meanwhile, who was on pram pushing duty, opted for a black shirt and dark shorts with matching sunglasses. 

The new parents were all smiles as they enjoyed their relaxed lunch in the up market Sydney suburb. 

Last Sunday, the Nine star shared an adorable new photograph cradling Oscar as she celebrated a milestone moment.

In the image, Sylvia is seen smiling ear-to-ear as she cuddled her sleeping baby as he laid asleep on her shoulder. 

‘Our beautiful Oscar is one wonderful month old today,’ she wrote alongside an emoji of a chocolate birthday cake. She continued: ‘May these cuddles never end.’ 

Sylvia and husband Peter welcomed Oscar on February 6 – the first child for the TV power couple. 

The former breakfast TV host shared a sweet image of their son in a blue onesie while announcing the news on Instagram.

‘Our beautiful boy, Oscar Hamilton Stefanovic, 3.4kg, deep blue eyes and perfectly healthy. He’s absolute magic,’ she wrote.
