Ben Affleck bundles up in rainy LA after sun-drenched Costa Rican getaway with new love Ana De Armas

Ben Affleck was seen stepping out in rainy Los Angeles this Thursday after returning from his Costa Rican getaway.

The 47-year-old Hollywood hunk was recently in the Central American country on holiday with his new flame Ana De Armas, 31.

When he was glimpsed in Brentwood this week, he swapped out his summery beachwear for a thick navy sweater and a pair of jeans.

Ben shares his three children Violet, 14, Seraphina, 11, and Samuel, eight, with his amicable ex-wife Jennifer Garner who is apparently copacetic with the Ana romance.

‘Jen has completely moved on from Ben in a romantic sense,’ said an Us Weekly insider of the Miracles From Heaven actress.

‘She considers him a friend, thinks he is a good dad to their children and respects him. She is happy in her own life and supportive of him and happy for him and his relationship,’ shared the source.

This Friday sees the release of his latest movie The Way Back, a high school basketball drama in which he plays an alcoholic. 

Ben himself has gone to rehab multiple times for drinking, most recently when Jennifer drove him to treatment just before the shoot of The Way Back.

After that relapse it was Jennifer who called the film’s director Gavin O’Connor and pleaded with him to keep the project alive.

‘The studio certainly thought the movie was over,’ Gavin told 34th Street, a student magazine at his alma mater the University Of Pennsylvania.

‘His ex–wife Jennifer Garner called me up, and told me that when he went to rehab, he took a basketball with him,’ Gavin revealed.

‘She said: “Gavin, he’s asking you, please don’t pull the plug on the movie, he really wants to do this.”‘

The Way Back is releasing amid a swirl of reports that predict a rough box office weekend for Hollywood because of coronavirus fears.
