Dancing on Ice star Alexander Demetriou has been spotted leaving his skating partner Maura Higgins’ house amid bold claims his marriage ‘has collapsed’.
In pictures obtained by The Sun, the professional skater, 28, who is married to fellow pro Carlotta Edwards, was wearing a hooded parka jacket as he drove away from her flat in a BMW on Saturday.
The publications reports the pair had spent ‘several hours’ together before he made his exit.

It was recently revealed Alex and Carlotta’s four-year marriage had been shaken by his pairing with Maura, 29, on the ITV contest, where Alex allegedly became ‘besotted’ with the former Love Islander.
The reports come just days after it was claimed Maura split from her Love Island boyfriend Curtis Pritchard after rows over her friendship with the skater.
‘This will devastate Carlotta. As much as her relationship with Alex has deteriorated, they are still married,’ a source allegedly told Sun.

‘She was hanging on to a hope they might be able to fix the unfixable. But it seems very clear there won’t be a way back.
‘And seeing Alex emerge from Maura’s flat will be a real kick in the teeth.’

Carlotta was reportedly left jealous of the on-screen pair’s friendship, and thought she and Alexander had overcome the difficult patch when the series came to an end.
It has also been claimed Alexander confided in Maura about his marital problems, even after the pair were eliminated from the show several weeks ago, with their chemistry catching the eye of several Dancing On Ice co-stars.
Alexander and Carlotta are reportedly trying to put on a united front but will reportedly soon announce their separation now the series in over.
The source told The Sun: ‘They haven’t been happy together in months, and Alex has been confiding in Maura about their personal problems, which hasn’t helped.’
They added: ‘Their marriage seems to be broken beyond repair, and friends and family are now expecting them to make that publicly known once Dancing On Ice is over.’

Despite the claims, Alexander and Carlotta both appeared on each other’s social media as recently as last month.
Maura’s spokesperson has since dismissed any suggestion that Maura’s partnership with Alex contributed to her recent split, telling MailOnline: ‘Maura and Curtis mutually decided to separate due to busy schedules.’
Alex and Carlotta met in 2008 while performing on Disney On Ice together, and married in 2016.

The former grid girl allegedly felt pressured to stay in her relationship with the professional dancer, 24, in a bid to boost their profile- claims that Curtis strongly denies.
According to a source speaking to The Sun, Maura and Curtis’ relationship turned sour following their row at the National Television Awards in January.

The couple were reportedly told if they stayed together they could make millions.
The source said: ‘Maura felt pressured to stick with him. They had booked jobs together, parties they had to attend.
‘When they met in Love Island it was genuine. But when the showbiz treadmill started on the outside, it was a sham.’
A representative for Curtis told MailOnline that Curtis had not been unfaithful to Maura and the pair had not faked any aspect of their relationship.
