It comes a week after 200 friends attended Caroline’s funeral in a forest close to her childhood home near Thetford.

Sharing a beautiful photo of the pair enjoying themselves, Louise wrote: ‘Missing my girl but always thinking of you.’

Louise revealed the pair became good friends after Caroline reached out to her when she was going through a tough time after the breakdown of her 19-year marriage to Jamie Redknapp in 2017.

She has previously praised Caroline for giving her the confidence to restart her music career after years out of the industry, and for empowering her during the journey.

Caroline had been due to appear in court this month after being charged with assaulting Lewis in December – charges that she always denied.

Caroline and Lewis remained a couple in her final months, despite a judge banning him from contacting the Love Island host ahead of her trial.

The TV favourite pleaded not guilty to assault by beating, but found out the day before her death that prosecutors had decided to still move forward with the case.

Days later a picture of Lewis’ small head wound showed he wasn’t the victim of a serious assault.

The tennis player had begged authorities and the CPS not to take the case to court, with Caroline’s management blasting it as a “show trial”.
