Married At First Sight’s Jonethen Musulin admits he’s FINALLY developing feelings for ‘wife’ Connie Crayden as they enjoy one last date

After an enjoyable final date with Connie Crayden on Monday’s episode of Married At First Sight, Jonethen Musulin admitted he may finally be developing feelings for her.

Jonethen, 27, was left stunned during last week’s commitment ceremony, when Connie voted to ‘stay’ in the experiment despite him consistently electing to ‘leave’.

But after the 27-year-old marine biology student arranged a date for him, which involved driving a Kombi van to a beach and culminated in Connie gifting Jonethen with a photo scrapbook, he confessed he was happy she persistently wrote ‘stay’.

‘When she brought out the scrapbook, I was a little choked up. For me, I’m a visual cue guy, and it was… kind of like the proof was in the pudding,’ he admitted.

‘I’m looking at it and I’m like, “Look how much we’ve done.” It was really, really lovely and a really thoughtful and sincere thing for her to do.

‘For me, that scrapbook kind of summarised our whole relationship really well, and I’m so glad she spent the time to do it.’

As they enjoyed a nighttime picnic under fairy lights at the beach, Jonethen told a pleasantly surprised Connie their time together had been an ‘amazing experience’.

‘Thanks for writing “stay”,’ he toasted her, prompting a cautious Connie to ask if he meant what he said.

He said their final date together was making him ‘reevaluate’ his relationship with Connie and his feelings for her.

‘I think it was really good. I kind of need a slap in the face sometimes,’ he confessed.

‘After the date today, it just shined a new light. Maybe the veil got taken away from my eyes or the shades or whatever.

‘I’ve just seen her how she actually is, and it’s like, “Look how much you’ve changed. You’ve grown and blossomed into this beautiful woman,” and I kind of understand now why I should be giving it my all.’

Married At First Sight continues Tuesday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
