MAFS: Jono Pitman and fiancée Rebecca Pattison are expecting a child

Former Married At First Sight star Jono Pitman and his fiancée, Rebecca Pattison, are expecting their second child together.

The couple, who welcomed their first son, Max, in July 2019, announced the happy news on Instagram on Tuesday.

Jono shared a photo of Max sitting next to a sign referencing the popular children’s song Baby Shark by Pinkfong.

The sign read: ‘Mummy shark due due due due due due in October 2020.’

The proud father wrote in the caption: ‘We can’t wait to welcome a baby girl into our tribe early October 2020 #babypitman #twoundertwo.’

Jono and Rebecca, who have been dating since May 2018, got engaged on Christmas Eve. 

They announced Max’s arrival in July last year.

At the time, Jono shared a photo to Instagram of Max wearing a cute panda romper, alongside the caption: ‘And just like that two became three!

‘Welcome to the world Max Thomas Pitman born 16th July at 3.36am weighing 3820g. Your first breath took ours away and our hearts are so full of love.’

Jono told WHO magazine last year that when Rebecca turned up on his doorstep for their first date ‘he knew she was the one’. 

The couple had known each other for nine years before reconnecting in March 2018. 

Jono rose to fame on season two of Married At First Sight in 2016. 

He was partnered with Clare Verrall but they didn’t last. Clare has since become a vocal critic of the show, saying it caused her mental health problems.
