Myleene Klass cuts a chic figure in a black maxi dress and leather jacket as she heads to work

She’s been teaching the nation the piano with daily sessions on Instagram as she and her family self-isolate at home.

And Myleene Klass took a break from teaching as she was spotted making a chic arrival at Global Radio Studios on Friday, where she presents her Smooth radio show.

The former Hear’Say singer, 41, was stylish as she rocked a black maxi dress paired with a black leather jacket as she made her way into the building.

On Friday Myleene uploaded a video showing her teaching the difference between ‘major’ and ‘minor’, but she soon stunned when she turned around and began tickling the ivories behind her back.

Captioning the video, Myleene penned: ‘PARENTS! Today, watch me literally bend over backwards to teach your kids! Major or Minor? (Two of my friends still don’t know the difference….you know who you are, I know you’ll be watching!)

‘They will know it after this. #myleenesmusicklass link in Bio #youtube #stayhome #homeschooling (oh and you get to see my party trick!)’

In the clip, the star, who donned a pale blue shirt, played a jaunty tune, with her girls then holding up smiley or sad face posters to guess whether the tune was played in a major or minor chord.

She then revealed her ‘party trick’ and turned around facing away from piano, before proceeding to play the same song with her hands behind her back.

Myleene’s Instagram treat comes days after she revealed that she was ‘trying to stay sane’ amid her teaching the nation to play piano.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday, from her home, Myleene discussed the importance of looking after your mental health during the COVID:19 lockdown.

She said: ‘I was a music teacher 20 years ago so I guess I’m going back to my roots, trying to stay sane, alleviate one lesson from the home schooling schedule.

‘My girls are really good. Ava, she’s a proper pianist, she’s incredible. It’s been something that’s been really nice for us to do as a family.

‘People are looking after the physical side but you need to look after the mental side as well.

‘Music is seen as a softer subject but now that Glastonbury is cancelled and theatre are cancelled, people are looking to put a bit of soul back in their lives.’

The day before, Myleene spoke to MailOnline exclusively about her grand plans during the coronavirus crisis, declaring ‘I want to be the nation’s music teacher!’

The mother of three and former Hear’Say singer had a brainwave last week as the UK prepared to go into lockdown, realising she can offer her talents as a classically trained musician.

After discussing the stresses of homeschooling in her school mums Whatsapp group, Myleene has decided to do her bit to ease the burden on parents by launching her online music lessons, dubbed Music Klass.

Her daughters Ava and Hero, joined in, wowing with their talents after years of being taught by their mum, while baby Apollo, seven months, sat on laps and her boyfriend Simon Motson played cameraman.

‘When I was a poor student working in a bar that’s what I’d do, I’d sit there and play whatever,’ she says, ‘playing by ear has been my hidden secret that no one has ever really known that I can do!’
