Married At First Sight’s Drew Brauer delivered a brutal rejection to KC Osborne at their final vow ceremony on Sunday night while discussing a future together.

The 31-year-old told his ‘wife’ he’s not willing to move from Cairns to Sydney to be with her, after she said she hopes to continue as a couple in the real world.

However, he added that he is happy to stay together in a long-distance relationship for now, relieving the brunette, who initially feared she was being dumped.

An emotional KC read her vows first and looked back at their tumultuous romance.

The dancer said: ‘As we started to get to know each other I knew we had a lot of differences, but I always felt so connected to you. Drew, I always saw such potential in us, even when you didn’t. I know you don’t agree with how I live my life, and I can honestly say that your judgement has worn me down.

‘At one stage, I became embarrassed about what I enjoy. I should never be ashamed about what brings me happiness. Coming into this experiment I asked for someone that loves all of me, and I didn’t get that. Although I don’t love your [stuffed] toys, loud t-shirts or judgement – I was determined to look past that and get to know you.

‘Drew, even at times when you’ve frustrated the crap out of me, I couldn’t help but start falling for you. I missed you during our time apart, I missed you making me laugh and I missed how you make me feel beautiful in the morning before I put any makeup on. I can’t walk away from a man who my heart is so connected to.’

KC then gushed about a future with Drew, hopeful they can make it work.

She concluded: ‘I want to try together outside of the experiment. I hope you can accept me for all of who I am. I promise to be your ride or die in the real world – and I hope you can be mine too.’

Drew went on to read his vows, initially leading KC to believe he was ending things, saying: ‘You’re a beautiful human being, but this experiment has been a rollercoaster of emotions. Which is why this decision is one of the hardest I’ve ever had to make.

‘I’m concerned that our lives are so different and we’ll struggle to make it work between Cairns and Sydney. We both have very different views on the world and how we want to live. I worry it’ll be next to impossible to meet in the middle. We’re both strong-minded people and I don’t see either of us changing any time soon.’

Drew continued: ‘You quickly came to the conclusion that you’d never move to Cairns – which put a lot of pressure on me to move to Sydney, the big smoke. I love my home, and although I’d move for love – we just aren’t there yet.’

After a pause, he added: ‘What I do know, is I’m not ready to say goodbye just yet.’

A relieved KC sighed: ‘Bloody hell, you had me worried, it’s all doom and gloom.’

The hunk then concluded his vows, adding: ‘You are beautiful both inside and out, and I’m so glad the experts chose you for me. I care about you so much, you make me so happy and I’m not ready to say goodbye just yet.’

The couple left the social experiment together.

Married At First Sight continues Monday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
