Married At First Sight EXCLUSIVE: Stacey Hampton breaks silence on ‘new man’ Scott Charman as pictures emerge of the pair getting cosy

Married At First Sight’s Stacey Hampton has denied dating gym owner Scott Charman after pictures emerged of the pair getting cosy earlier this year.

The 26-year-old insists she is single following her split from ‘husband’ Michael Goonan, and Scott is currently in a happily relationship with another woman.

‘We were friends, we never dated and I’m single,’ the mum-of-two told Daily Mail Australia on Monday morning.

Stacey’s statement comes after Daily Mail Australia published pictures last week of the pair embracing in Adelaide Airport in February.

Scott is property developer, budding social media influencer, who lists himself as a ‘public figure’ on Instagram and owns an F45 franchise in South Australia.

The fitness buff boasts more than 6,000 followers and often shows off his various tattoos in shirtless pictures online.

On Sunday night, viewers watched Stacey and ‘husband’ Michael leave the social experiment together, and choose to continue as a couple in the real world.

Moments after the episode aired, the blonde revealed on Instagram that they split up weeks later while filming in the reunion episode in Sydney on January 16.

‘This was filmed ages ago and we’re not together,’ began Stacey.

She added: ‘You’ll see at the reunion why we’re not. I was accused of cheating [on him], Michael believed it and I’m not going to be with someone who doubts me.’

Last week, Stacey said she’d rather ‘swallow acid’ than reunite with Michael.
