MAFS EXCLUSIVE: Natasha Spencer reveals she and Stacey Hampton are on speaking terms

Married At First Sight star Natasha Spencer has revealed that she and Stacey Hampton are on speaking terms and have been leaning on each for support, after the cheating scandal rocked the show. 

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia back in February, just after the explosive reunion show was filmed on January 15, the financial analyst said the pair have shocked their co-stars by forming a bond.  

During the reunion episode that aired on Tuesday, Natasha’s ‘husband’ Mikey Pembroke was forced to admit to his one-night stand with Stacey.

‘Stacey and I have now started speaking quite regularly and everyone is so shocked, because they’re like, “you didn’t really speak,” Natasha said at the time, after being asked about Michael Goonan admitting on radio that he went on MAFS for fame and put on a ‘clown suit for Australia’.     

‘Stacey and I have both said we never hated each other, we just didn’t know each other and we didn’t take the time,’ Natasha said. 

Natasha said at the time that Stacey was ‘devastated’ and ‘so heartbroken,’ after she admitted on radio that her TV husband ‘made a mockery of her.’

‘We give these clowns like Michael Goonan a platform and I just wish he’d go back Adelaide and keep packing ice and stop doing stuff to Stacey who is a good single mum,’ Natasha said. 

‘Leave her alone… she’s heartbroken and upset and still coming and helping me with the Mikey situation and that says a lot about her character… she could just be looking after herself but she’s standing up for me too.’ 

During Tuesday’s explosive reunion episode of MAFS, the cheating scandal between Mikey, 29, and Stacey, 26, played out. 

Natasha dropped a bombshell, revealing Mikey had slept with Stacey.

Proposing a toast at the hotly anticipated reunion dinner, Natasha began by telling the other couples Stacey and Michael had ‘the fakest relationship in Australian reality TV history’.

‘And I’d like to toast to Stacey, for f**king my husband on our one-month anniversary. Cheers to you, babe,’ she concluded.  

Her bombshell revelation left everyone at the table stunned, and prompted Stacey, 26, to deny ever sleeping with Mikey, branding herself ‘the most loyal partner’.

Feeling the pressure to weigh in on the discussion, Mikey then stood up and confessed: ‘One thing led to another, me and Stacey had a few drinks in Ivan and Aleks’ room, and we slept together.’

But Stacey continued to deny it, calling Mikey ‘desperate’ and claiming he was ‘obsessed’ with her. 

The aspiring lawyer repeatedly denied the allegations, even after Mikey produced corroborative text messages that proved they’d spent the night together.
