‘Producers need to lift their game!’ Married At First Sight fans are left outraged by ‘boring finale episode’… branding 2020 the ‘worst season ever’

Married At First Sight was trending on Twitter during Sunday night’s finale episode, but not for all the right reasons.

In a series of tweets, fans expressed outrage over a ‘boring’ show, even going so far as to call 2020 the ‘worst season ever’.

Viewers were perplexed by the lack of drama played out, and not every couple getting a chance to address their tumultuous relationships on the couch.

‘Even though I have nothing better to do with my time, I am still mad I wasted an hour-and-a-half on this,’ one wrote. 

Another said that ‘producers need to lift their game’ and ‘adding dramatic music and lots of ad breaks doesn’t make [the show] interesting’.

One viewer described the episode as ‘pretty anti-climactic’ with ‘unresolved scandals’, making it ‘the most boring episode of the season’.

While another was perplexed by couples such as Tash Herz and Amanda Micallef not getting a chance to address their failed relationships with the experts.

‘Imagine being such a boring MAFS couple, on the worst season ever, and your last time on the couch doesn’t even get aired,’ they wrote. 

Sunday night’s episode kicked off with Connie Crayden addressing her confidence issues and journey of self-discovery on the show.
