‘It’s very disappointing’: Married At First Sight’s KC Osborne blasts Elizabeth Sobinoff for saying Michael Goonan is only dating her out of ‘revenge’
Married At First Sight’s KC Osborne has hit back at her co-star Elizabeth Sobinoff, after she insisted that Michael Goonan was only dating her out of ‘revenge’.
The 31-year-old dance instructor said on Monday she was ‘rattled’ and ‘disappointed’ by Elizabeth’s hurtful claims about her new relationship.
KC shared an emotional video to Instagram in which she defended her relationship with Michael and said that people shouldn’t be ‘throwing shade’.

‘One thing that has rattled me today actually, is seeing what Lizzie had to say about my relationship with Michael,’ KC said.
‘Lizzie and I were friends the whole way through the experiment and I really, really liked Lizzie.
‘So it’s very disappointing to hear her say Michael is just with me out of revenge and that I’m a bad friend because I was close with Stacey [Hampton, Michael’s ex-wife] in the experiment.’
KC went on to clarify that she and Michael were just friends during filming last year and had ‘not intention of getting together’ before they fell in love in March.

‘The first time I met up for him with a drink was a month out of the show and he was with a girl,’ KC explained.
‘I just wish more people were more supportive instead of throwing shade at my new relationship. It’s disappointing to hear people say that this relationship is revenge when I’m genuinely happy and to have found someone I want to be with.’
As KC recorded the clip in her car, Michael jumped in and kissed her.

It comes after Elizabeth said on Talking Married on Sunday that she believed Michael was only dating KC in ‘revenge’ against Stacey.
Lizzie laid into her former co-stars, claiming that Stacey and KC had been close and ‘confided in one another’ and hence KC’s involvement with Michael is a betrayal to Stacey.
‘If KC and Michael are together, I will be very disappointed in each of them, because KC was very friendly with Stacey when filming, and Stacey confided in KC a lot,’ Lizzie said on the show.
She added: ‘I would also say that I would think that would be more of a revenge thing from Michael to get back at Stacey.’

‘If Stacey did cheat, if she did cheat, she was not close with Michael at that point. There was a little bit of separation there and Mikey wasn’t with Natasha, so different circumstances.’
‘And the fact that Michael is ready to throw in the towel like that when Stacey was confiding in KC at that moment. Not cool!’ Lizzie concluded.
After keeping their relationship a secret for weeks, KC and Michael finally made things official on Monday.
The lovebirds, who were originally paired with other people in the social experiment, kissed in public for the first time in Elwood, Melbourne.
