Millie Bobby Brown shows off her new poodle puppy Winnie on the Jimmy Fallon show


She recently welcomed home a new poodle puppy named Winnie.

And Millie Bobby Brown showcased her pooch during an at home version of the Jimmy Fallon Show where she revealed Winnie was her new travel companion.

The actress, 16, said that the dog is a ‘little something from home’ to have while she’s on the road travelling for her role as Eleven in Stranger Things.

While talking on the show with host Jimmy, Millie brought her ‘full poodle’ to the screen and gave her cuddle while showing her off to viewers.

Millie said: ‘I’ve got a dog her name is Winnie. She’s a full poodle, she’s four months now. Last night was her first night sleeping in bed with me so she was very happy.’

‘I’ve got her to be my like little something from home, because I’m always travelling, so it’s nice to have something there for me when I’m on the road.

Explaining that she was a big hit with her co-stars, she said: ‘She came to the Stranger Things read through and she was spoilt, so I think she has plenty of godmothers and godfathers.’

Millie also revealed that like many other shows Stranger Things has completely halted filming until the threat of the coronavirus pandemic has gone. 

She said: ‘We stopped filming, we already shot two weeks in Lithuania, not me but the crew. We were just about to get into but for everyone’s safety we have stopped.’

Millie also revealed how she has been keeping busy while in isolation at her family home, which included spending time in the studio with her brother.

She said: ‘Yes I’ve been trying, I’ve been in the studio with my brother a lot. Doing stuff writing stuff. But right now I’ve been tie-dying, I’m very talented in the tie-dying realm.’

The actress was believed to have met Joseph, 17 – the son of England Rugby World Cup legend Jason Robinson – in the Maldives at the end of 2019.

The pair confirmed the relationship via Joseph’s Snapchat, declaring they are in love with a sweet ‘Ly x’ caption.

In the image, the pair stood in front of a floor-length mirror, with Joseph behind Millie, arms around her waist, staring intently forward.

Millie snapped the shot, sunglasses on, tongue sticking out.

Joseph uploaded it with the caption ‘Ly x’ which means ‘Love you’.

They were first seen together on Joseph’s father Jason’s Instagram page, with Millie and Joseph seen smiling for a photo after enjoying a meal on their Maldives trip before Christmas.

Millie also shared a photo of herself wearing Joseph’s Wigan Warriors jersey.

The rugby league official account left the comment: ‘Probably the STRANGEST Thing to happen in 2020 so far…’

Millie also commented ‘yessss! [love heart emoji]’ on a picture of Joseph and his dad at DW Stadium Official on December 4. Joseph replied with a heart emoji.

And the pair posted matching photos on a dog walk on Christmas Eve.

Joseph lives in Lancashire with his mum Amanda, who split from his dad in 2013.

In November Millie stayed at the £1,580-per-night Soneva Fushi resort in the Maldives, where Joseph was also holidaying.

Millie, who plays Eleven in Stranger Things, described her stay on the island as ‘the trip of a lifetime’.
