Millie Bobby Brown paid tribute to her late friend Liv, three years after her death.

The Stranger Things star, 16, took to Instagram on Thursday to reflect on her friend’s passing by sharing several photos alongside her.

In the touching tribute, Millie wrote: ‘its been 3 years…i listened to footprints in the sand this morning… we danced to that in the hotel in New york…

‘it just feels crazy to know this world doesn’t have u in it… you were such a light and a source of positivity that I would go to… u were such an angel down on earth but God needed u up there with him. 

‘U were too special liv. I miss you. We all miss you. we won’t stop fighting for childhood cancer [sic].’

Millie shared a sweet snap where she wrapped an arm around her friend, as well as two pictures of Liv by herself, and a picture with her on a red carpet.

On Thursday, Millie did not appear to enjoy Jimmy Fallon’s socially distanced round of the ‘Whisper Challenge’ on Wednesday night 

While the game is typically played with noise-canceling headphones, the 45-year-old talk show host and Stranger Things star had to play a bit differently on the at-home version of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.  

Over their Zoom chat, the pair switched between muting their computers and guessing what the other person was singing.
