John Legend and Sam Smith were just a few of the big names to perform Saturday for the star-studded One World Together at Home.

And the highly-acclaimed pair showed off their many awards as they teamed up for a remote duet from their respective homes.

They gave a beautiful cover of Ben E King’s classic 1961 song Stand By Me toward the end of the two-hour special, a result of a collaboration between Lady Gaga, Global Citizen and the World Health Organization.

They teased a glimpse of their Oscar and four Grammy Awards, which were visible in the mirror over their shoulder as they sang.

Legend also revealed his awards collection on the shelf next to him, which included a full EGOT and then some.

They later said on the Heart Breakfast radio show: ‘It was probably bad timing of me, but I use my social media as if it’s just my friends on it.

‘I posted with my humor and stuff, but it just didn’t get picked up very well, but I didn’t mean any malice by it at all.’

Smith has since announced that out of respect for the current situation, they’re postponing and renaming their new album, which was originally titled To Die For.

They said on BBC Radio 2: ‘This has been a really sad and awful time for us, so I’ve changed the album title, I’m going to change the album cover.’
