Married At First Sight’s Cathy Evans and Josh Pihlak did not stay together after the reality experiment.

And on Saturday, Cathy revealed that she was never actually in love with Josh despite having a strong start as a couple at the start of the season.

The reality star, 26, posted a Q and A video called ‘MAFS Spilling the Tea’ to Instagram, in which one fan asked: ‘Did you fall in love with Josh?’

‘No! I did not fall in love with Josh. I can say that I was infatuated with him and I tried really hard to make it work with him but not in love with him,’ she said.

‘And that is why it was quite easy for me to walk away from the relationship. It was just so much effort and I was just so consumed by it.’

Cathy then revealed she has now found someone ‘so much better’ than Josh and has  no interest in staying in contact with truck driver after one fan asked if they still spoke.

‘Let me tell you this now sis, no! No to everything. The only time we have ever spoken to each other (since the show) was very briefly when I messaged him “just to let you know, I’m in Brisbane for work”,’ she replied.

‘There was not even an apology for everything that had happened. And I bet to this day he still thinks that he has never been in the wrong.

‘Please can we put it back behind us? Like, I have moved on, I’ve found myself someone so much better!’

In the second part of the Q and A, posted to Instagram on Sunday, Cathy hit back at rumours she does not want children.

‘All these interviews that are coming out after the show, I hear that my “ex-husband” (Josh) is now saying that “it didn’t work out because she didn’t want kids”,’ she said.

‘This person (Josh) did not get to know me at all in the time that we were together. Everything that I tried to tell him about me, he didn’t want to hear and wasn’t interested. He even told me that I wasn’t his type.’

Cathy and Josh are certainly not on good terms after MAFS, with the truck driver revealing he was auctioning off his wedding ring on Thursday.

The couple have also had a disagreement over fellow contestant Connie Crayden, with Cathy calling her a secret ‘mean girl’ and Josh hailing her as the ‘nicest person you could meet’.

On MAFS, Cathy and Josh’s ‘marriage’ ended at the fifth commitment ceremony after the truck driver raised issues about their relationship in front of his mother.

Cathy slammed Josh for blindsiding her by revealing relationship problems in public instead of privately discussing them as a couple.
