She rose to fame on The X Factor back in 2010 but stepped back from the music scene to raise her daughter Delilah-Rae, 20 months.

But Cher Lloyd was back with a bang as she premiered the music video for her new single called Lost on Friday, after a three year hiatus.

The singer, 26, embodied vintage showgirl chic as she slipped into a plunging sequinned corset and matching knickers.

The release of her new music comes after Cher took a break from the industry in 2014 after releasing her album Sorry I’m Late.

Back in January, Cher detailed her experience on The X Factor as a vulnerable 16-year-old in an insightful interview.

She revealed she’s still angry over the ‘reality TV baggage’ that shaped the aftermath of her time on the show and says she wasn’t prepared for the hatred she encountered.

But with her third album now out and a settled life in America with husband Craig Monk and their 20-month-old daughter, Delilah-Rae, Cher finally feels free to be herself and have the career she’s always wanted.

Detailing the horrific insults people would throw at her during her stint on the show in 2010, Cher said: ‘Would you go up to a 16-year-old girl in the street and say: “I don’t know you, but you look disgusting, with your disgusting eyebrows”?

‘That’s what people did to me.’
