Chris Hemsworth says his wife Elsa Pataky STILL doesn’t know snakes can be dangerous despite living in Australia for years… after the Thor star discovered a python in his bike helmet
Chris Hemsworth had the shock of his life when he discovered a green python in his motorcycle helmet while cleaning out his garage this week.
The 36-year-old actor was doing household chores in self-isolation when he reached to grab what he thought was a scarf, only to realise it was a living reptile.
‘It’s only within a second or two as I’m reaching for it and then as I put my hand on it, it’s not a scarf, it’s a python that’s found a little comfort zone,’ he said on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

His wife, Spanish actress Elsa Pataky, usually deals with snakes in their home because she fails to appreciate how deadly they can be.
Despite living in Australia for years, Elsa is still an ‘uneducated tourist’ who doesn’t understand that some native animals are dangerous, according to Chris.

‘I don’t know whether she’s braver [than me] or not as intimidated as easily or is just an uneducated tourist,’ he said.
‘She doesn’t quite know maybe that a snake might kill you. That’s my excuse to run for the hills and tell her to remove the deadly animal.’
Elsa, 43, has lived Down Under for six years, after moving from Los Angeles.

It’s unclear if she is an Australian citizen, but considering that she is married to an Aussie and has lived in the country for so long, she is eligible to apply for citizenship.
The Hemsworths live in a $20million mansion on a 4.2 hectare estate at Broken Head, near Byron Bay.
Chris and Elsa share three children together: daughter India Rose, seven, and twin sons Sasha and Tristan, five.
