We’re all dreaming of a little escapism while we’re confined to our homes.
At least the holiday spirit has come to us, however, with temperatures set to be hotter than Ibiza in parts of the UK this weekend.
But as this month’s dry spell continued, a blaze broke out on moorland.
The fire started on Thursday at Rakes Moss in the Derbyshire Peak District, covering four square miles, and continued to burn yesterday.
The flames, which were being fought by firemen on the ground and with a helicopter dropping water, were likened to ‘something from Mars’.

The closest residents, in Tameside, Greater Manchester, were asked to keep their windows and doors shut as smoke plumes drifted west.
Forecasters say the weekend will remain dry and sunny for most of the country.

Ibiza is set to reach highs of only 18C (64F) today and 20C (68F) tomorrow.
Cooler conditions are expected in coastal areas of Britain, with top temperatures closer to 15-16C (59-61F).
A spokesman for the Meteorological Office said: ‘Saturday is due to be another fine day for most, with low cloud and fog in eastern parts clearing back to the coasts during the morning.
‘A few showers are likely to develop over Wales.’
For tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday, the Met Office predicts most areas will see ‘dry and bright periods’, although there may be some coastal fog patches and showers.
For the first half of next week, temperatures are expected to fall back to the mid-teens due to increased cloud.
Heavy showers could arrive on Tuesday, followed by a more unsettled pattern of sunshine and rain throughout the rest of the week.
Stronger winds, overnight frosts and rainy spells are predicted for the first week of May.
