Abby Cohen shares picture with hunky boyfriend David

Abby Cohen shared an Instagram picture with her hunky boyfriend David on Sunday as she continued to move on from ex-Ben. 

The mother-of-two was left distraught after rugby star Ben ended their 11-year marriage having fallen for Strictly dancer Kristina Rihanoff.

Abby appears very happy in her new romance and wrote: ‘Morning bootcamp .. trying to keep up with this one! #runningsession #legsworkout #nopainnogain #covidfitness.’ 

She looked naturally beautiful wearing a sports bra and letting her natural beauty shine through. 

And David, wearing a grey Oakley T-shirt, looked very muscular as he took the photo, while Abby cuddled up to the person she previously called ‘the perfect man’.  

The ex-wife of England rugby star Ben, 41, went official with her new man on Instagram in March – six years after Ben left her for Kristina.

Talking about her decision to go public with her romance, Abby told MailOnline: ‘I use Instagram as an advertising tool for my business. 

‘When I downloaded the picture, I was struck by the lens flare — when the light hits the back of the lens. I hardly recognised myself, I looked so happy. I haven’t looked like that for a long time. 

‘I put it on Instagram without really thinking. When I woke up the next day, loads of people had started to follow me. Then a publicist I use for my work called to say, ‘You’ve got a new boyfriend’.

‘I thought, ‘Everyone still labels me Ben’s ex’ but I’m not that Abby any more. I’m me. I’ve got my two girls. My life. I’ve finally met a really nice man. I want to be known as ‘Abby the good photographer’ or ‘Abby the great mum’. I’m very different. I’m stronger.’

Abby, who lives in Northampton, met David in her local gym but the pair chose to keep their relationship private for some time.     

After eventually going public this week, Abby chose to like one comment on her post, which read: ‘I believe you have upgraded.’

Another message she liked exclaimed: ‘Definite upgrade. So pleased for you,’ followed by a smiling emoji face and love heart.

Abby also gave her seal of approval to one fan message which told her: ‘A real step up.’

Another message she liked stated: ‘What a gorgeous pic of a classy lady and her handsome beau. A bit of feel good news. Xx.’

Photographer Abby split from Ben six years ago after it was revealed that he had fallen for former Strictly star Kristina. 

Abby and Ben share twin daughters Harriette and Isabelle, 12, while Ben welcomed a third child, Mila, in 2016.

Abby lives in a stunning country home in Northamptonshire with her two children while Ben has settled down to his new life in a village barely 30 minutes away.

Following their acrimonious split, Abby has worked hard to rebuild her life and career. 

She presented an online makeover show with Ant McPartlin’s ex Lisa Armstrong and has also been busy working in London to revive her photography work.

Abby has been vocal about the betrayal she went through with Ben.

Having split from him in 2014, she told The Sun On Sunday a year later: ‘My husband, who I was with for 23 years, unconditionally loved and was completely loyal to in every respect, has left me for a f**king Russian dancer.

‘The last two years have been the most traumatic thing to ever happen to me. He’s done the dirty on me. I want people to know.

‘I don’t want to cause stress or further damage by stirring things up. But I’m just trying to recover from what has been the most horrific time of my life.’

When Ben split from Abby, he and Kristina denied that they had had an affair, despite being pictured with their arms around one another on the London Underground.

During the summer of 2015 they went to Turkey together but tried to hide this – even taking separate flights to the Turkish resort of Antalya.
