Bachelor villain Rachael Arahill asked to be on Married At First Sight

Former Bachelor villain Rachael Arahill approached to be on Married At First Sight next season… as rumours swirl that producers are casting celebrities in a bid to spice up the show

She’s arguably one of the most scandalous contestants to ever appear on The Bachelor.

And now Rachael Arahill has been asked to return to reality TV as a bride on the upcoming eighth season of Married At First Sight.

The 24-year-old was approached by a MAFS casting producer on Instagram this week and asked if she’d be interesting applying for the series.

Here comes the bride… again! Bachelor villain Rachael Arahill has been asked to return to reality TV as a bride on the upcoming eighth season of Married At First Sight

However, Rachael immeadietely shut down the offer, vowing to never do another reality TV dating show again.

‘Can you imagine if I had the audacity, after what happened last time on The Bachelor, to go on another reality show looking for love?’ she said in an Instagram video.

‘I would literally never, ever, ever sign my life away to a contract again and I advise that none of you ever do it either,’ she added.

She also said that she’s worked hard to ‘dissacosicate’ herself from The Bachelor franchise over the past year.

However, the blonde beauty admitted that part of her was tempted by the offer, solely as a way to give a ‘big f**k you to Channel 10’ for the way they edited her on The Bachelor.

Rachael’s season of The Bachelor was filled with scandal after she was accused of flirting with a male producer behind Bachelor Matt Agnew’s back, which resulted in her being thrown off the show.

However, the personal trainer has insisted that there was more to the story than what was shown on TV, and recently threatened to tell the ‘truth’ about what happened to put the rumours and speculation to rest once and for all.

Rachael’s casting offer comes amid rumours that Channel Nine are looking to cast celebrities on the next season of the series.

According to a report in NW magazine earlier this month, producers are considering bringing back past participents and adding some celebs in the mix too.

To support its claims, NW published what appears to be a leaked text message from the show’s relationship expert John Aiken to an anonymous celebrity.

John supposedly wrote: ‘We are trying to figure out if we want celebrity marrying a celebrity for the season or celebrities paired up with strangers on the outside.’

He continued: ‘We will have a video call tomorrow morning to discuss agreements further and I’ll let you know the other celebrity names who are currently on board.’

There’s also rumours that Kyle Sandilands could join the series as an official relationship expert, although nothing has been confirmed yet.
