  • CONTAINS KILLING EVE SEASON 3 SPOILERS!

When last we saw her she was back in London, haunting Eve on a double-decker bus.

And in shots from the fourth episode of Killing Eve season three, Villanelle – played by Jodie Comer – looks to be getting her fingers green.

The actress, 27, is seen in behind-the-scenes snaps ahead of Sunday’s new episode wearing a khaki green waterproof hat, matching jacket and shorts, as she stands amongst the blooms in a very English-looking country garden.

Completing the look with chunky boots, Jodie brandishes a pair of gardening shears, holding them pointedly in the photo.

The crew are seen in one snap milling around the star as she prepare to shoot the scene.

Having already murdered her apprentice by shooting him through the head, and killing a woman in an apothecary by flinging her off a ladder, it seems Villanelle’s weapon of choice this week is horticulture-themed.

Another shot of the episode sees Eve – Sandra Oh – as she finds herself in a chicken coop.

The episode, which airs on Sunday night, is titled Still Got It, and is set on Eve’s birthday.

The former CIA agent – who is back in the game attempting to avenge the death of her former-colleague Kenny, who was thrown from the roof of a building in the season premiere without explanation – was made aware last week that Villanelle is back in town.

She returned home to discover a stuffed bear on her bed, put there by the femme fatale, as a gift.

Episode four sees Eve trying to reconcile with estranged husband Niko.

But Villanelle  is still hot on her tail – having learnt that Eve had survived the shooting at the end of season two.

While the assassin receives good news about her upcoming promotion, she can’t shake the feeling that there’s still something missing from her life – seen last week pining for Eve.

Her mentor, Dasha, takes things into her own hands and seeks a solution to Villanelle’s erratic behaviour.

Killing Eve airs on Sunday at 9PM on BBC One.
