‘First bit of graft in 29 years!’: Liam Gallagher FUMES as he botches barbecue assembly and compares task to ‘picking MAGIC MUSHROOMS’ in Twitter rant

Liam Gallagher was left fuming on Thursday as he tried, and failed, to assemble a barbecue.

Keen to take advantage of the sweltering weather in lockdown, the Oasis rocker, 47, attempted to build a barbecue, but took to Twitter to vent his frustration after likening the thankless task to ‘picking magic mushrooms.

He wrote: ‘Just put my new BBQ together first bit of graft in 29 years my head is officially tw****d egg my a***LG.’

Comparing himself and one of his children to an iconic comedy duo, he continued: ‘Seriously laurel n hardy had f*** all on me and Rkid f*****g stupid f*****g BBQ.’

The star’s alfresco meal was not to be however, as the Wall Of Glass singer shared a candid insight into his afternoon.

He wrote: ‘Looking for washers now on the grass coz we’ve done it wrong bringing me back to my days of picking magic mushrooms f*****g starving the pot noodles are gonna have to come out f*** BBQs.’

Fans were quick to comment on the star’s tweets, with one writing: ‘Zen as f***?’ with Liam responding:  ‘far from zen I’m raging.’

The singer is currently self-isolating with fiancée Debbie Gwyther amid the coronavirus lockdown and joked his number one tip for getting through it is lots of alcohol.

Liam added that he’s currently bored out of his mind at home and recently made a tipi in garden as a consolation for Glastonbury being cancelled this year.

It comes just days after Liam fell out with his brother Noel for sharing an Oasis track online for fans.

Liam reacted furiously to his estranged brother’s decision to release a previously unheard Oasis song, Don’t Stop, at midnight on Wednesday.

The 15-year-old demo, which Noel, 52, found in an old box of CD’s, does not feature Liam’s singing at all, nor does it include guitarist Paul Arthurs, also known as Bonehead.

Liam tweeted hours after the release: ‘Oi tofu boy if your gonna release old demos make sure im singing on it and boneheads playing guitar on it if not it’s not worth a w*** as you were LG x.’

Nonetheless fans went wild for the release, lauding it for its positive tone, although many noticed that Liam had been left out as Noel sings and plays the music.

They suggested it was a ‘classic Noel song’ and should have found its way into one of Noel’s solo albums and not been hailed as a new Oasis song.

On Wednesday, Liam had tweeted: ‘Watch out there’s an asteroid about c’mon you know LG x’

Then on Thursday, he seemed to say what he thought of the track and wrote: ‘Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.’

Noel had said he had believed the song to be ‘lost forever’ and predicted that fans would argue over their personal reviews.
