Married At First Sight star Elizabeth Sobinoff made a bizarre and gruesome admission in an Instagram Live Q&A on Tuesday.

Joined by her boyfriend Seb Guilhaus, the 29-year-old revealed she had lost both her toenails while play fighting with her beau.

The topic arose after the personal trainer, 30, asked the brunette beauty how her toes were doing.

‘I lost both my toenails, the big ones,’ she began.

Lizzie explained to fans that she and Seb had been ‘play fighting’ when she decided to kick her buff beau in the foot, which she explained ‘was the start of the damage’.

‘Seb came out with one of my girlfriends and I, and he stood on my foot when we were walking,’ she continued.

‘My other girlfriend was wearing really big boots and she stood on my foot again, so I ended up losing my toenail.’

She then explained that she lost the other one after a drawer fell on her foot during a visit to Melbourne.

Seb then went on to joke that toenails were ‘overrated’.

The couple are currently living in different states – Lizzie is at her parents house in Newcastle, New South Wales and Seb in Adelaide, South Australia – because border closures due to COVID-19 restrictions.
