Stacey Solomon shares sweet video of her son Rex, 11 months, taking his first steps… just days before the tot’s birthday

She’s been documenting his milestones ever since he was born last May.

And Stacey Solomon shared another heartwarming video of her baby son Rex taking his first steps on Thursday.

The Loose Woman star, 32, took to Instagram Stories to share a video of Rex dancing in a cute rainbow-printed babygro, before he takes an unsteady step forward.

Stacey shared the video of her son standing on two feet and dancing to music in their house. 

At one point Rex appears to take an unsteady step forward, and Stacey’s boyfriend can be heard shouting ‘is that a step?’ 

Clearly proud of her son for reaching the milestone, Stacey gushes: ‘Clever boy,’ as Rex loses his footing and falls onto the rug.

Stacey captioned her post: ‘Disco pickle, I think we may have just had a first step.’

Stacey and Joe are set to celebrate Rex’s first birthday later this month with her two older sons Leighton, eight, and Zachary, 12, in the midst of the COVID-19 lockdown.

It comes after the star also admitted she feels guilty for struggling so much emotionally during the coronavirus crisis.

The television personality said: ‘I’m going to have to do something because I just feel I’m on the brink of tears. All the time.

‘It’s got to be the hormones or the moon. But do you ever have one of those days where you feel like you’re welling up all the time for NO REASON what so ever?

‘And then you feel terrible for feeling teary when there are so many people in the world in such awful circumstances I have no reason to be teary what so ever.’ 

In a later post, the Loose Women panellist appeared to have perked up as she was watching TV and eating crisps with son Rex, 11-months, she joked: ‘Couldn’t believe his luck.’
