Suited and booted: Coronation Street star Andy Whyment, 39, has continued to entertain his fans during lockdown by sharing a fun dance video with wife Nicola and son Thomas, 11

In the video, Andy, Nicola and Thomas all wore matching black suits and ties and white shirts, along with the Men In Black’s signature sunglasses.

The trio delivered a dance to the famous track performed by Will Smith, complete with the signature slide.

Andy – who plays Kirk Sutherland in the soap – admitted it was a bit of a scramble finding all the clothes to mimic the famous black suited look, with Nicola having to squeeze into one of her son Thomas’ school shirts.

His post was captioned: ‘Went full out costume and everything for this one a bit of MEN IN BLACK and Nic managed to squeeze into Tom’s 11 to 12 years school shirt to get into character.’

The family, which also features Andy and Nicola’s daughter Hollie, nine, also posed for some appropriately-sharp images in their new looks.

Andy has been holed up in lockdown with his family after filming for Coronation Street was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier this month MailOnline exclusively learned that bosses were in the ‘final stages of a return-to production protocol,’ with filming set to hopefully resume next month.

Both Corrie and its ITV rival Emmerdale scaled back their weekly episodes to try and ration those that had already been filmed before the lockdown.

Bosses revealed earlier this month they had enough episodes to remain on the air until June, having cut for six episodes a week to just three.

ITV’s Kevin Lygo confirmed that the soap will be ‘adapting’ its pre-written scripts to factor in the COVID-19 crisis, he said: ‘They’re being incredibly inventive and creative about re-jigging storylines.

‘Obviously lots of scripts were written for this period of filming, but they’re adapting some. I think we’ve got to accept there’ll be more “two people talking in a room” type stuff.’

While Broadcast magazine claimed that the ITV soap could be making amendments to sets in a bid to adhere to social distancing with ‘one-way systems’ and ‘perspex screens’ during editing.

Coronation Street continues on Monday at 7:30pm on ITV.
