She told New Idea on Monday that she was happy to see the ‘beautiful’ relationship unfold on the Channel Seven reboot, which will premiere on June 8.

‘I can’t say too much about it, but you will see that unfold. It’s a beautiful romance. It’s not salacious,’ she said.

Big Brother has seen several relationships develop in the past, including season one’s Pete Timbs and Christina Davis, who set tongues wagging after their ‘dancing doona’ incident that aired on adults-only show Big Brother: Uncut in 2001.

Season 10 pairing Tully Smyth and Anthony Drew hooked up in 2013, but their romance was controversial because Tully already had a girlfriend.

Tully and Anthony continued their relationship outside of the show, but split a few months later in January 2014.
