Zoe’s father married Dianne when the star was six after her mother Julia walked out when she was two.

It comes after Zoe made the most of her bank holiday weekend on Sunday afternoon by venturing out for a bike ride with boyfriend Michael Reed.

The couple pulled on their safety helmets before embarking on a ride through the English countryside as spring temperatures continued to soar across the UK.

Opting for a black and white cycling jacket over black shorts, Zoe was appropriately dressed while documenting their preparations in series of pictures.

Taking to Instagram, the presenter admitted it was her first time on her distinctive tangerine coloured road bike since participating in the annual Sport Relief fundraiser in 2018.

Zoe had raised money for mental health awareness charities by taking part in a gruelling 355-mile journey from Blackpool to Brighton in honour of late partner Billie Yates, who took his own life in 2017.

And she was keen to give the bike she used during the five day journey, documented in BBC show Hardest Road Home, another outing – albeit under rather less challenging circumstances.

Zoe also admitted she was taking an added precaution during her latest bike ride by packing moisturizing cream in the event of her and Michael, 50, suffering an uncomfortable saddle rash.

The presenter and construction boss Michael were said to have gone their separate ways in November 2019, but confirmed they had reconciled after they were spotted together in recent months.

A source told The Sun at the time of their split: ‘Zoe knew deep down the relationship wasn’t going anywhere. She enjoyed her time with Michael but came to the conclusion he wasn’t a keeper, despite him believing they were getting serious.

‘There were certain things she grew uncomfortable with, such as him wanting to become a model and actor. Her close circle feared he was using her to enhance his own career.’

A second source claimed Zoe split from Michael to focus on work and her two children, son Woody, 18, and daughter Nelly, who she raises with ex-husband, DJ Norman ‘Fatboy Slim’ Cook, 56.

The insider said: ‘It is very amicable. With all Zoe’s had going on with Billy, work and Norman she’s had so much to deal with and sadly a new relationship was too much. They remain friends but she’s happily single and focusing on her kids and work.’

The broadcaster found love with the construction boss in December 2017, months after her former boyfriend, cameraman Billy Yates, tragically took his own life following a long battle with depression.
