‘This is a big step for me’: The Voice’s Matt Evans reveals his SIX WEEK body transformation… and thanks Chris Hemsworth for his help

The Voice’s Matt Evans has revealed his impressive body transformation.

Ahead of his successful Blind Audition on Sunday night, the 23-year-old spent six weeks shredding his body fat after gaining weight in lockdown.

Matt credited Chris Hemsworth’s fitness app Centr for helping him get into the best shape of his life.

‘I’ve never uploaded a shirtless photo to Instagram before so this is a big step for me. However, I feel like I’ve worked hard enough and want to throw a shout out to Centr,’ he wrote on Instagram last week.

The singer admitted that ‘once COVID-19 hit he put on a couple of kilos eating what he wanted with absolutely zero fitness’ in March.

It wasn’t until he signed up to Chris’s app when he found the motivation to train.

He shredded his body fat, toned up and gained muscle mass in a short space of time.

‘It (Chris’s app) got me into the shape pictured here in six weeks,’ he boasted.

‘In terms of eating I just made sure I was in a calorie deficit but wasn’t counting any macros, fats etc. So I think it’s a pretty achievable program for everyone to get great results, losing fat whilst also building some lean muscle.’

‘6 weeks, 6 days, 6 exercises, 6 reps, 6 rounds focusing on complete conditioning, fitness and a massive amount of core work with both body weight and dumbbells.’
