Kylie Jenner tops Forbes Magazine’s highest-paid celebrities list despite not being a billionaire

Kylie Jenner TOPS Forbes Magazine’s highest-paid celebrities list after earning $590m in one year… just days after publication revoked her billionaire status

  • Kylie Jenner has reached No. 1 spot on Forbes’ 2020 Celeb 100 list, ranking her as the world’s highest-paid celebrity in terms of her annual pay
  • Announcement comes after the publication stripped her of her billionaire status last week, claiming she had been ‘inflating the size of her business for years’
  • Jenner, 22, denied the initial claims made in the report by Forbes

Despite their recent falling out, Forbes Magazine is giving Kylie Jenner credit for her success, as they’ve given her the No. 1 spot on its 2020 Celeb 100 list, ranking her as the world’s highest-paid celebrity in terms of her annual pay.

‘While she had exaggerated over the years about the size of her business, the money she pulled in from the deal was real – enough to rank as one of the biggest celebrity cashouts of all time,’ the publication wrote on Thursday.

According to Forbes, Kylie, 22, earned $590 million over the past year, most of which was thanks to beauty giant Coty buying a 51 percent stake of Kylie Cosmetics last January.

The reality star sold the share for $600 million, which led to her earning $540 million before tax.

Kylie’s brother-in-law Kanye West was named the second highest earner, after he also had controversy with the publication over exactly how much he is worth.

Per the report, West $170 million over the past year, which is said to be down to his fashion line Yeezy. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $1.3 billion.

Forbes named Kylie the world’s youngest self-made billionaire in 2019 and again in 2020, but published a bombshell report last week accusing the Jenner family of inflating figures and ‘forging’ tax returns for the makeup mogul’s cosmetics company.

The reality star denied the report shortly after, tweeting: ‘what am i even waking up to. i thought this was a reputable site..

‘all i see are a number of inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions lol. i’ve never asked for any title or tried to lie my way there EVER. period’
