MasterChef star Laura Sharrad looks downcast outside her Adelaide restaurant… just days after the show’s rumoured winner was ‘leaked’

MasterChef hopeful Laura Sharrad appeared slightly despondent outside her Adelaide restaurant, Nido Bar and Pasta, on Monday.

The 24-year-old chef was spotted setting up the restaurant’s outdoor area with her husband and business partner, Max Sharrad, before opening time.

The sighting came just days after Daily Mail Australia revealed that Emelia Jackson is most likely the winner of MasterChef: Back to Win, with Laura tipped for runner-up.

Making her way back inside the restaurant, Laura seemed stony-faced as she returned to work following her run on the hit cooking show.

MasterChef’s resident pasta queen rugged up against the South Australian cold in a black puffer coat.

She also wore pale blue jeans, which were cuffed at the ankles, and a black knit jumper.

Laura completed her ensemble with woven black espadrilles, which she wore with white ankle socks.

Her bobbed brown hair was tied back in a low ponytail, and she appeared to be wearing minimal makeup.

Laura’s husband was also on hand as they set up for another day of work. At one stage, he was spotted opening up an outdoor umbrella.

Meanwhile, Laura has been tipped as runner-up, according to Sportsbet, with odds of $3.50 compared to Emelia’s $1.36.
