The Block stars Kara and Kyal give fans a walk through of their stunning kitchen

Since appearing on The Block in 2014, Kyal and Kara Demmrich have completed more than 25 renovation projects. 

But none would be as close to their hearts as the couple’s latest venture- renovating their own dream family home in Bateau Bay, on the NSW Central Coast.

On Saturday, the parents-of-two treated fans to a glimpse of their stunning family kitchen in a video posted on IGTV. 

‘Hello welcome to our kitchen,’ Kara began in the video. 

‘We moved in here a couple of months ago and it was a very big rush, so we literally started putting things in cupboards and its only now that I am working out where I want things, but I will show you around.’ 

Kara then gave viewers a tour of the large space, which features a very organised wooden cabinetry with plenty of storage, and a butler’s cupboard with pull out pantry. 

 

The kitchen also features a large marble island for prepping meals and a family-sized hidden freezer and refrigerator.    

Those who like entertaining will also love the addition of a drinks fridge and a drinks cupboard in the stunning kitchen. 

Kyle and Kara purchased their beach shack in the coastal area six years ago, and are building an ultra-modern pad on the land.  

The pair – who share two young children together, Ziya, three and Vada, two – have kept followers up to date of their build on their website. 

Speaking to Homes to Love in April, Kara revealed her dreams for the property. 

‘The home will have four bedrooms with a master suite upstairs, a kids’ rumpus room and detached guest house,’ she said. 

‘The exterior will include crisp white weatherboards, limestone and a rough white render paired with timber features.’
