Will axed Big Brother housemate Shane Vincent officiate Samantha Armytage’s wedding?

Big Brother’s Shane Vincent has delightedly offered to officiate Samantha Armytage’s wedding to Richard Lavender. 

After given the boot from the show the night before, the marriage celebrant appeared on Seven’s Sunrise on Monday, where he spoke about ‘patching things up’ with his house rival Matt Garrick, and even said he ‘hoped to do [officiate] his wedding.’

The show’s presenter Natalie Barr then gleefully asked him is he wanted to officiate her co-presenter Samantha’s wedding, to which he replied: ‘I would love to do Sam’s wedding. Let her know that I’m available!’ 

‘Whenever Sam decides to do tie the knot, I’m here!’ Shane added. 

Natalie told him they were more than willing to pass on the message to Sam, who wasn’t in the studio as she doesn’t work on Mondays. 

Sam, 43, announced her engagement to businessman Richard Lavender, 60, earlier this month. 

And when she returned to Sunrise, she told co-host David ‘Kochie’ Koch that her fiancé had proposed on the spur of the moment ‘weeks ago’ in the paddock of his rural property in the NSW Southern Highlands.

 Samantha and Richard confirmed their romance to WHO magazine in November. 

 It’s unclear when the pair will say ‘I do’ at an official wedding ceremony.  

Meanwhile, speaking about his eviction to Daily Mail Australia, Shane said he was ‘gutted,’ but loves being back with his family.

‘I love the game and I love being involved in the game and it was an awesome experience,’ Shane said.

‘So gutted to leave, but happy to come home and see the family, the kids and the wife and stuff. It’s a double-edged sword.’
