Melissa George urges herself to ‘think bikini’ as she struggles to pass the time during fat-freezing cryotherapy treatment in Paris

Melissa George filmed herself undergoing a fat-freezing cryotherapy treatment in Paris.

Doing her best to pass the time on Instagram Stories on Thursday, the Australian actress hilariously tried and failed to pronounce the name of the treatment in French [Cryo’Minceur].

The 43-year-old also reminded herself to ‘think bikini’ as she struggled with the length and boredom of the treatment.

Melissa spanned the camera around the room, which saw her cryotherapy machines on either side.

The make-up free star went on to ask ‘how’s my hair?’ as she did her best to get comfortable on the treatment bed.

A final snap from her treatment saw Melissa flashing a smile as she told her followers she was finally done.

Back in 2012, Melissa famously told The Sydney Morning Herald that she wouldn’t return to Australia because she was sick of local media being ‘disrespectful’ by mentioning her role on Home and Away.

‘I don’t need credibility from my country any more, I just need them all to be quiet. If they have nothing intelligent to say, please don’t speak to me any more,’ she said.

‘I’d rather be having a croissant and a little espresso in Paris or walking my French bulldog in New York City.’

However, she later changed her tune after temporarily returning Down Under to film the drama Bad Mothers for Channel Nine.

During a promotional interview for the series last year, Melissa gushed to TV Week magazine: ‘Whenever I come to Australia, I feel complete.’

She had spent 10 days filming Bad Mothers in Melbourne in 2018, and believes the short stay helped her ‘reconnect’ with the Australian culture.

‘This was a great opportunity to come home and be amongst Australian talent. That’s why I wanted to do this,’ she explained.

‘I’d say a lot of Australian talent gets forced to go overseas – that’s the way things work. But when we come home, it’s like the last piece of the puzzle to fit.’
