Jennifer Garner and her swimsuit-clad daughter Violet walk their dogs on Malibu beach

Golden Globe winner Jennifer Garner and her eldest daughter Violet walked their Golden Retriever Birdie and a black rescue dog on a beach in Malibu on Sunday.

The privileged 14-year-old wore a violet-colored, short-sleeved swimsuit and she stood taller than her 47-year-old famous 5ft8in mother.

Neither of them wore masks or face coverings, which California Governor Gavin Newsom made mandatory for all public outings – including beaches – on June 18.

As of Sunday, there have been over 130K confirmed COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles County, which has lead to 3,795 deaths – according to Johns Hopkins University.

Missing from Jen’s side were daughter Seraphina, 11; and son Samuel, 8; from her decade-long marriage to former Daredevil leading man Ben Affleck, which ended in October 2018.

‘I think I have the perfect aged kids for this [pandemic],’ Garner said on The Tonight Show At Home Edition back in March.

‘Because they are big enough to understand and to have the conversations like, “We’re built for challenge. We can do this. We’re a tough team. Let’s learn about a vacuum cleaner.” But then they’re not so big that they’re just like, “Well I don’t care, I’m going to go…”‘

On March 13, the Quibi Princess Bride guest star and her Catch Me If You Can castmate Amy Adams co-founded Save With Stories, which has raised well over $1.7M.

‘And that’s from 25K different donors. Most of that is $10 increments, which is something that Amy and I really were aligned on and knew we wanted the [donations] number to be attainable, especially given just the financial climate of the world,’ Jennifer told Deadline on April 2.

‘This time has really shown how much food insecurity there is, how reliant people are on schools and what a job they have. So schools are really trying their best to have people in the cafeteria to make the food.

‘Save with Stories is giving them money for the bus drivers and money for the gas to get out to deliver to these small communities where people can’t come in or in cities making sure that, through No Kid Hungry, the food banks and the community feeding services are stocked with school supplies and books to go home with.’
