This is the moment thieves drove up behind a car waiting in traffic, snatched a bag from the passenger seat and made their getaway along a London street.
Another driver’s dashcam shows a silver car pull across the back of the victim’s small red car, giving the thieves enough room to do a swift U-turn.
A man, who appears to be wearing a mask and gloves, leaps out of the back of the silver car and runs to the red car.

He opens their unlocked car door, grabs what appears to be a black bag, and gets back into the silver car.
His driver swings round and makes a quick getaway in the opposite direction.

The driver who recorded the incident gave chase for about a minute as the thieves sped away from Lea Bridge Road in Walthamstow, east London, on Sunday.
They said: ‘I would have followed but I had my family in the car.
‘I doubt anyone can recognise the suspects, but just a reminder to all residents, lock your doors as you drive.’
Met Police said they have no record of the incident.
