Calling them out! On Sunday, Abbie Chatfield blasted ‘toxic male culture’ on Bachelor in Paradise after Timm Hanly (right) fought with Matt Wyhatt over breaking ‘bro code’ when he started dating Ciarran Stott’s (left) ex, Renee Barrett on show
Tensions flared quickly during the Snday’s episode, as Matt confronted Timm for ‘stirring up’ drama when he started dating Ciarran Stott’s ex, Renee Barrett.
Abbie was not impressed by Timm and Ciarran’s stance that Matt couldn’t date Renee due to the ‘bro code’.
‘There are certain people in Paradise who are acting as though they have ownership on certain people,’ she said.
‘While you’re allowed to feel your feelings, you can’t stop other people from being happy.’
Abbie said she thought ‘bro code’ was ‘redundant’ and considers dating a friend’s ex perfectly acceptable as long as both parties are ‘open and honest’ about it.

During the episode, Matt, 28, accused Timm, 27, of ‘isolating’ him from his co-stars by labeling him ‘a dog that everyone hates’ for dating his mate Ciarran’s ex Renee.
‘I know I have friends here, and the fact that he said that everyone here thinks I’m a dog and hates me, it’s Timm trying to isolate me,’ Matt said.

A fiery exchange ensued when Timm approached Matt, asking why he’s ‘coming at him’.
Accusing him of spreading that he’s a ‘dog’ and a ‘rat’, Matt said: ‘I don’t care what your opinion is about me. I’ll accept that and not talk to you.
‘Don’t speak for the rest of the group. You’ve been pulling people aside since you got here.’
