He announced his plans to sue Channel 10 over his portrayal on Bachelor In Paradise, last week.

But on Sunday, Jamie Doran appeared to put aside his legal troubles to enjoy a night out with friends.

The Bachelor In Paradise star, 40, drowned his sorrows at the bar in Queensland, just days after revealing he’ll be taking legal action against Channel 10.

Jamie looked casual in a black T-shirt, floral buttoned shirt and denim shorts as he sat at a table with three females friends.

The reality TV star completed his ensemble with a maroon cap and also wore a pair of blue sneakers for the outing.

At one point, the 40-year-old was spotted enjoying a drink at the bar alone before he reunited with his friends.

On Wednesday, Jamie announced he’ll be taking legal action against Channel 10 and Warner Bros. over his negative portrayal on The Bachelorette in 2019 and Bachelor In Paradise.

The fireman shared a statement to Instagram, explaining why he had decided to call in his lawyers.

His post began: ‘This is not the news I wanted to post, but I feel I owe this to at least my family, friends, and also fans of The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise.’

He continued: ‘After lengthy consideration, I’ve decided to begin legal proceedings against Network 10 and Warner Bros. Australia.

‘I’m not going to comment on this any further for the time being and would appreciate it if people would respect my privacy.’

In response to Jamie’s legal threat, a network spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia: ‘Channel 10 has not received any papers regarding this claim.’

Jamie was portrayed as a ‘stage-five clinger’ on Bachelor in Paradise this season, and received a similar edit on The Bachelorette last year.
