Frank Ocean’s mother has remembered her late son Ryan Breaux following his death at age 18 from a car crash.
Katonya Breaux paid tribute to her son on Wednesday after Breaux died when the Tesla his friend was driving collided into a tree at a high speed early Sunday morning.
Breaux shared a sweet photo of her smiling son embracing her and resting his cheek against her face onto Instagram.

Breaux, the younger brother of singer Frank Ocean, died at age 18 following a high speed car crash in Thousand Oaks, California.
Breaux and the driver, Ezekial Bishop, 20, died after their Tesla ‘appeared to leave the roadway and collide[d] with a tree in the center median,’ according to a press release from The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, reports Us Weekly.
Law enforcement were responding to a single-vehicle collision 1:30AM on August 2 when they found the car ‘engulfed in flames’.

Breaux and Bishop were pronounced dead at the scene.
The car sustained severe damage and was cut in half upon colliding with the tree, according to CBS LA.
Officials said Breaux and Bishop died from blunt force injuries and the manner of which they died was ruled accidental, according to the NY Daily News.
‘The car crashed into a tree along Westlake Blvd. at high speed and both victims died from blunt force injuries,’ the Ventura County Medical Examiner shared in a statement.
Breaux appeared in Ocean’s 2016 track Futura Free, which featured an interview with him as a child.

Asked what he would do with his last day on earth, he responded: ‘Everything that was on my bucket list, like I don’t know, there would just be a lot of things I’ll do, probably spend a lot of time with my family and tell them I’m going away and probably… I don’t know. There’s a lot of things you could do.’
Celebrities paid tribute to the pair following the tragedy on social media.
Kaia Gerber posted several photos of the pair, along with the caption, ‘ryan and zeek, my heart is so heavy right now. I can’t put into words how grateful I am for every second I was lucky enough to spend with you. the two people who made me smile the biggest. I will never forget that. I can still feel you here. I can still hear your laughs. I promise to keep trying to smile for you, I love you both forever. ❤️ rest peacefully always by each other’s side.’
