Heartbreak for Scott Tweedie as his E! News show is AXED just months after quitting Channel 10 for the bright lights of Hollywood

Scott Tweedie has been left heartbroken and jobless after his E! News program was axed this week.

The former Studio 10 presenter moved to New York at the end of last year after scoring his dream job hosting E! News and Pop of the Morning with Lilliana Vazquez.

However, on Wednesday, his dreams of glittering showbiz success came crashing down following reports that E! had axed both his shows.

According to Variety, NBCUniversal (the parent company of E!) is looking to ‘streamline its programming and restructure internally,’ partly as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A third program, In The Room, has also reportedly been boned as a result of NBCUniversal’s restructure.

Scott, who previously hosted The Loop on Channel 10, has yet to release a statement about the devastating news and whether it will affect his living arrangements in the US.
