The Bachelor’s Nicole Campbell was overjoyed when Locky Gilbert surprised her with the triple threat rose during Wednesday night’s premiere.
But the professional dancer, 26, has revealed she was in tears in the bathroom only 10 minutes earlier because she was convinced the former Australian Survivor star, 30, was going to send her home.
Nicole told WHO magazine on Thursday: ‘When he gave me the triple threat rose on the first night, I was honestly in disbelief.’

She explained she was sobbing in the bathroom earlier in the night.
‘Ten minutes before, I was literally crying in the bathroom thinking that he was going to send me home. Instead, he awarded me the three date rose,’ Nicole said.
Despite several of her co-stars confessing to producers they were jealous, Nicole said everyone was nice to her.

‘[The girls] were all super supportive. No one had anything but nice things to say,’ she said.
Nicole certainly made quite the impression on Locky on Wednesday night’s episode.
The thrill-seeker couldn’t help but praise Nicole when the big moment came to hand out the triple threat rose.

‘You came out, amazing,’ he began, referring to Nicole’s dazzling red carpet arrival during which she showcased her skills and leaped into his arms.
‘You taught me how to dance,’ he continued. ‘I didn’t think I was gonna do that.’
Locky went on to say that he loved the blonde’s energy and vivaciousness.
‘Every time I was walking around, you were always the life of the party, and that’s amazing to me,’ he said.

‘I said before this all started, if a girl jumps into my arms, that’s gonna be a winner for me,’ he added, before handing Nicole the coveted rose.
Later on, Locky made the difficult decision to eliminate Nadine and Paige at the first rose ceremony.
